Maysan Engineering Technical College organizes a symposium on drugs, their dangers and ways to prevent them

The College of Engineering Technology in Maysan, one of the formations of the Southern Technical University / Unit of Continuing Education and Educational Guidance, organized a symposium on (Drugs: Their Danger and Methods of Prevention) attended by members and students of the college.
The symposium aims to introduce the dangers of drug addiction, which have begun to expand, and how to protect segments of society from falling into this phenomenon.
It included several topics, the most important of which were the phenomenon of drug abuse, the reasons for its spread, the position of the law on drug crime, and addressing the phenomenon of abuse.
The symposium was attended by M.M. Zainab Faraj Karim, in which she pointed out the importance and role of educational, medical, psychological and family institutions in confronting this phenomenon, as well as spreading a healthy culture for students that helps them learn about drugs and their negative impact on the brain and on the health of the individual.
