The Engineering Technical College in Maysan organized a symposium entitled (Intellectual Deviation and Ways to Confront It) in the presence of a number of college students. Ali Karim Shajar, a lecturer at the college
In it, he touched on several axes, including the definition of intellectual deviation and knowing the reasons leading to deviation, in addition to explaining its effects on society in general and on the family in particular.
The symposium aimed to work on promoting and encouraging a healthy social upbringing, and the care of families for their children and their proper upbringing in order to protect them from delinquency that they may be exposed to, and interest in research and studies that would urge the fight against terrorism and the discourse that leads to delinquency. Inviting students to attend and participate in governmental conferences and festivals, especially those that emphasize adherence to the values and traditions prevailing in society and that renounce hatred and hatred among members of society.
