The President of the Southern Technical University visits the Technical College of Engineering, Maysan

The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, visited the College of Engineering Technology in Maysan and was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Aziz Muhammad, the Assistant Dean, Dr. Jawad Jayoul Saadoun, and the college’s employees, congratulating him on his new position. He received a bouquet of flowers from the Dean of the College, congratulating him on his position as President. Southern Technical University.
Then he met with the college students of both departments, the Department of Electromechanical Technology Engineering and the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering. During the meeting, many questions were asked of interest to the process of technical education in light of the decisions and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. After that, the President of the University listened to a number of proposals, opinions, and obstacles that Students suffer from it during their studies, stressing that the university presidency and the deans of colleges and institutes are making every effort to achieve the goals of higher education, stressing his keenness and concern for all university students.
For his part, the Dean of the College welcomed this visit, which expresses the university presidency’s interest in its students and formations and its continued support in serving the educational process.
Then, a meeting was held in the Technical Institute/Southern Technical University Council Building, which included the deans of all the university’s formations
After that, he met with members of the college and institute and listened to a number of opinions and solved all the obstacles they faced
In conclusion, the President of the University extended his thanks and appreciation to the deans of the Technical Institute/Architecture and the Technical College of Engineering in Maysan and to all members and urged them to exert more efforts and excellence.
