The College of Engineering Technology in Maysan concluded a course entitled Digital Transformation and Electronic Literacy in the Continuing Education Hall, in the presence of the Assistant Dean, Dr. Jawad Ja’iul Sa’doun, and the college’s instructors and members The course, which was lectured by Prof. Dr. Muqdad Hanoun Daoud, aimed to raise awareness among employees, especially those working on the Internet, in order to protect personal information or state information from any hacking operation that may be exposed to it, and to explain the necessary measures to be taken to avoid hacking operations The course touched on several axes, including defining digital transformation, challenges, cybersecurity, and its important relationship to electronic technological transformation and dealing with the Internet and its ethics that must be understood and preserved The last part of the seminar was also allocated for discussion and inquiries, as the seminar received great interaction from the attendees, and several questions were directed to those in charge of it, where they answered them and enriched the topic further At the end of the seminar, the attendees expressed their great benefit from it, stressing the importance of holding such seminars to protect ourselves from electronic security risks
