The College of Engineering Technology in Maysan organized a workshop entitled “Professional Project Management Using Agile Methodology” in the Continuing Education Hall, in the presence of the Assistant Dean of the College, Dr. Jawad Ja’iul Sa’doun, and a number of college members. This is within the framework of developing the skills of students and teaching staff in the field of modern project management. The workshop, which was lectured by Eng. Hussein Sadiq Latif, a lecturer in the Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technology, included an introduction to the Agile methodology and its role in enhancing the efficiency of work teams, accelerating project completion, and adapting to continuous changes in work environments. The basic principles of Agile were also highlighted, such as continuous collaboration, iterations, and providing added value to customers at each stage of the project. The workshop witnessed a distinctive interaction from the attendees, as Agile applications were discussed in various engineering and technical disciplines, in addition to implementing practical activities that simulate the real work environment. This workshop comes within a series of events organized by the college within the strategic plan for education and the Industrial Advisory Council Committee with the aim of developing the skills of students, employees, and teaching staff And qualify them for the requirements of the modern labor market.
