General criteria for admission:
- Applying for the electronic form is done through the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up’s electronic portal.
- Students in the Biology or Applied Sciences stream must complete 50 options on the electronic form, with at least 10 institutes included.
- Students will be accepted based on the options listed on the application form via the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up’s electronic portal and based on overall competitiveness.
- For admission comparison purposes:
- 8% of the foreign language score will be calculated and added to the student’s total score.
- An additional grade will be added to the average for first-round graduates (except for students covered by the trial system).
- Submitting an admission form is not binding for final admission based on the choices they submit, as admission depends on their competition with other students according to established criteria.
- The principle of competitive classes is only applicable when competing for the last seats in the approved admission plan.
- Registration Requirements:
- Students must read the instructions before registering and then appear in person with the required registration documents:
- The original secondary school certificate, certified by the Ministry of Education, along with three copies. They must retain the receipt.
- A graduation certificate with grades for institute graduates ranked among the top 10% (first round), original and three color copies.
- A medical examination form.
- An original Iraqi citizenship certificate and civil status ID or unified card, along with two photocopies.
- A residence card or residence confirmation, along with two color copies.
- A civil status ID or father’s citizenship certificate, along with a color copy.
- Solidarity Guarantee (A guarantor is required for the accepted student. The guarantor must be a current employee who provides confirmation of their continued employment from their department, or a retiree who provides a retirement ID and a color copy. Students from governorates may apply for the guarantee in their governorate at any legal department or student affairs division affiliated with government universities and institutes.)
- Personal documents are stored on a disk and submitted with the file for data archiving purposes.
